Text-Auszug:
Siemens was one of the first companies to use concentration camp prisoners for their production. The Reich Aviation Ministry (RLM) granted the company favorable conditions to set up a production site next to the Ravensbrück women’s concentration camp. From August 1942 to April 1945, Siemens & Halske A.G. (S & H) operated a production facility in which electrical construction components, telephone systems and measuring devices were manufactured for the Luftwaffe, with up to 2,300 jobs for concentration camp forced laborers.[i]
